This was my first experience of attending hospital as a private patient. I received the best of care and attention from the moment I walked through the doors to have my outpatient appointments and surgery until I was discharged 4 days later . I was treated with respect and nothing was too much trouble to make my stay comfortable and pain free. I found the staff very approachable and easy to talk to . The area I stayed was spotlessly clean . I would highly recommend Goring Hall Hospital . Thank you for all the care and kindness shown to me during my visits .

Upon entering Goring Hall, I was treated in a professional and most friendly manner, by all members of staff I came into contact with. My pre assessment was very thorough carried out by staff who were very friendly, putting me at ease, explaining my procedure through every stage. A big thank you to all the staff who looked after me after my procedure.

I was seen and received treatment at a time that was convenient to me. The staff were kind, caring and professional at all times. I felt well looked after and had not concerns regarding my treatment or care. What can I say, this is the first time I have had a private operation. But the whole experience was relaxing throughout ( excluding the actual operation). The staff, the surgeon and his team and naturally all the nurses where professional in the services they provided. And because I deal with pain and discomfort with a dry and wicked sense of humour several or the nurses who attended me also returned there input, of which I hope they had I laugh at my cost

All in all Goring Hall is very satisfactory. If I had any criticism it would be that sometimes the reception staff when checking in seem busy and you are not a priority. Also, reception staff in x-ray didn't seem able to sort blood test availability even though booked and was required prior to a scan which then resulted in me being delayed for the scan and another member of staff who happened to be in the area physically going to scanner to sort out. Information should be clearer for people collecting patients on their discharge after hours. No explanation or signs.
